Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Every image is processed inside your browser using WebAssembly. Nothing is sent over the internet, which also makes it fast and safe for private photos.
Is it really free? Are there limits?
Yes. It’s free with no sign-up, no watermark and no daily limit. Your own device does the work, so there is no server cost per image.
Can I convert iPhone HEIC photos?
Yes. HEIC photos are decoded in your browser and can be saved as JPG, PNG, WebP or AVIF.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large images (over about 100 megapixels) may be slow on phones because all processing happens on your device.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows and Chromebook. You can also add it to your home screen and use it offline.
